Pop-out Two Person Tent
This pop-out tent uses a folding floor to comfortably sleep two in the rear of your 40-series.  Stows flat on the rear floor, requires no drilling or permanent installation.  This is a one-of-a-kind item, even Jeeps don't get shit this cool!

I designed this tent myself for my own personal use, and have used it on multiple trips to date.  Its super easy to just throw in the back underneath your gear and you can just forget its there until you need it.

Purchasing

Unfortunately, I don't have completed tents for sale (sorry for being a tease).  There are just too many variables - the height of your truck, the style and year of your rear doors, the shape of the rear tub, etc.  Instead I'm offering plans for the tent so you can make your own, and tailor it to adjust to your particular application.

The plans are a 27 page pdf document explaining the exact dimensions of each piece and how to sew them all together.  Also included are drawings and dimensions of all the hard pieces (floor, braces) and my original CAD sketches of the tent pieces.

As drawn this fits a 1982 BJ42 exactly.  Some modifications will be required for other years, but I can't say for certain how extensive (or not) they'll be.

Here is what you'll get... (only bigger):

Ordering:

Just click below to order.  I'll be in touch within 24 hours with a link where you can download the file.

Price: $15

Note that I retain all rights to this design in case I decide to produce the tents in the future.  Accordingly I'm offering these plans so you can make tents for your own personal use.  You may NOT use this design to offer tents for resale or retail.  Any exceptions to these rule must be agreed to by me in advance.  Not trying to be a jerk, but I put a lot of work into this - sadly nothing goes together perfectly on the first try for me so I made a lot of tents getting this right... sigh.
