Aftermarket Gauge and LED Backlight Adapters For Stock Gauge Cluster
For three decades 40-series owners have had to choose between accurate gauges and the clean look of the stock gauge cluster... but no longer!

Another exclusive CruiserUser.com design, these adapters will fit modern, accurate, Autometer gauges into the stock gauge cluster.  Choose from electrical or mechanical gauges, and finally know exactly what your oil pressure, water temperature, and battery voltage/amperage is!

All years are supported!  For pre-71 clusters, without a pin-style lighting connector and without turn signal indicators in the speedometer, turn signal LEDs are included, but mounts are not.  Wire splices are used to connect new lighting to existing harness.  For 71-84 clusters, turn signal LEDs are integrated in the brackets, and electrical connection is done with pin terminals that plug into the stock connector.

As if that wasn't enough, these adapters also come with upgrade LED/EL-wire illumination so that you can finally actually see your gauges at night!

Installation
... is a snap, no modifications to the harness or cluster are necessary.  Simply unbolt the stock cluster, and remove all the gauges.  You'll be reusing your original speedometer and fuel gauge.

A duplicate of the stock connector (late models) or wire splices (early models) are used to plug the backlights and fuel gauge into the stock harness.  Then just hook up the replacement gauges as usual.
